Individual Therapy
You are not alone.
I provide affirming, adaptive therapy for anyone seeking support, with a focus on transgender, nonbinary, plural, neurodivergent, and autistic teens and adults. I work with clients whose identities and nervous systems have often been misunderstood or pathologized, supporting them in unburdening internalized shame and reclaiming a sense of safety, agency, and self-trust. My approach is collaborative, anti-pathologizing, and grounded in deep respect for your strengths and lived experience.
You don’t have to carry the weight of chronic trauma, anxiety, and systemic oppression alone.
Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a way to relate to your inner experiences with curiosity, respect, and compassion. In this work, different parts of ourselves are understood as meaningful aspects of survival and care, not problems to fix.
I have advanced training in IFS and somatic approaches, and adapt these practices to individual neurodivergent access needs and preferences. I start from a foundation of grounding in the present moment using breath, movement, or a focus on positive sensory experiences such as those in nature to access what IFS calls the Self. From there, we work with core emotional wounds (called burdened young parts) and rescue them from where they've been trapped within us waiting for help for many years.
Nature-Based Therapy
For many people, processing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life challenges is most effective outside traditional therapy offices. I offer eco-therapy in nature for clients who feel constrained, overstimulated, or disconnected indoors. We might walk in the woods, sit by the water, move and stretch gently, or hike up a hill while tuning into the sounds of the waves, the feel of the wind, the ground under your feet, the sight of the pelicans or hawks, or the movement of your breath, to reduce anxiety or provide a foundation for deeper trauma work.
Time in nature can offer calm and freedom to engage without pressure. Sessions are shaped collaboratively, with consideration for physical access, sensory needs, and individual comfort.

Gender Specialist Services
Gender exploration and transition means many different things to different people. Together, we can work on what that means for you, explore identities and language, discuss options, or simply help you reach your goals. I can support you with legal document changes, social transition, and navigating relationships with family, school, work, and peers.
I am nonbinary and trans masc and have been fighting for civil rights and training mental health providers on working with trans folks for over 25 years, since the late '90s.
For many years, I have been closely connected with the most qualified surgeons and medical providers to help teens and adults access knowledgeable, competent transgender care. I conduct gender assessments and write letters of support for accessing gender affirming hormones and surgeries, in accordance with current WPATH clinical guidelines as required by doctors, surgeons, and insurance.
Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy
I understand how neurodivergence can produce experiences of chronic anxiety, discomfort, and trauma due to frequent experiences of sensory overstimulation, interpersonal misattunement and societal negative bias. I take a cultural-difference approach, recognizing neurodivergent ways of communicating, such as valuing authenticity, honesty, and justice. In therapy, I create an empowering space that honors these differences, reduces the need for masking, and supports clients in exploring their emotions, processing trauma, and accessing our strengths without judgment.
Plural Support
I specialize in therapy for plural systems, helping clients navigate internal communication, understand system dynamics, and manage the social and emotional challenges of living in a world that often misunderstands multiplicity. I am available to connect with and validate the perspectives of all members of the system who would like to get to know me.
Self Harm
I have over 20 years of experience working with teens and adults who have navigated psychiatric hospitalizations, IOP/PHP, and other intensive mental health care. I bring an understanding, non-pathologizing, and highly nuanced approach, recognizing that these experiences create additional trauma for trans and neurodivergent clients.
